CSS is Competitive Examination Conduct Punjab Public service Commission. CSS Exam is Conducted Every Year For Higher post Qualifications

CSS has 6 Compulsory Subjects and 3 Subjects are Optional. Total Marks is 1200. 600 Marks of Compulsory Subjects and 600 Marks of optional Subjects.

CSS Compulsory Subjects

  • English Essay (includes multiple topics of Essay writing) 100Marks
  • English Functional ( This test has to check ability in English translation, idioms, punctuation and Tenses) 100 Marks .
  • Urdu (Eassy writing, use of idioms, Translation From English to Urdu, Poetic and versers Expalination) 100 Marks.
  • islmaic Studies ( have both Subjective and objective and Ethics Subjects at place of Islamic studies For Non Muslim)100 Marks.
  • Pakistan Studies (both Subjective and objective combination )
  • General Knowledge( Objective 100 Marks)

CSS Optional Subjects

CSS has Almost 30 plus subject Optional. You have to Choose 3 Subjects in which you are interested and keen. Here is List of Optional Subject of CSS Examination.

Group A CSS Optional Subject

  • Economic
  • E-commerce
  • Public Administration

All these Optional Subject has 200 Marks total.

Group B Subjects CSS

  • Zoology
  • Botony
  • Veterinary Sciences
  • Agriculture

These Subjects also has 200 Marks total.

Group C Optional Subject CSS

  • Computer Science
  • Mathematics
  • Statics
  • Principal of Engineering

Group D Subjects CSS

Group E Subjects CSS
